English language is used but filmed by a Filipino actress so the viewers would use their product.

How does the text depict age , gender , cultural groups?
I think the age they are going for is 18+ maybe and gender more specifically females because they are the most likely gender to have long hair but males can also have long hair , Filipino cultural group is who they most likely to use it because of a Filipino actress but other cultural groups can use as well.

What do the words suggest?
The words that are spoken suggest that we use Palmolive Hair Product because Palmolive Hair Product will give anyone with long hair shiny , silky , soft and smooth hair.

What does the author want us to know?
The any other Hair Treatment Brand is lying and that Palmolive Hair Product uses natural ingredients for their customers so they have the best results.

Pizza Hut Pizza
What views of the world is the text presenting?
They only film a few people and their friends enjoying their food and is filmed in there apartment or in Pizza hut

What kind of language is used in this text?
They use the language English and people talk but you can hear them you can only see their mouths , they also use a satisfying music so people will crave for pizza .

Which positions , voices and interests  are at play in this text?
The actors are talking about how happy they are so Pizza Hut will make you think that if you eat their pizza that it will make you happy.

What is the text about? How do we know?
About a group of friends happy while eating pizza and about pizza in general and how good Pizza Hut makes it taste with their toppings. Because they blur the background and make the pizza look colourful and crave for it .

In reality Celebrity's only go to there country and hometown and not the other countries that are starving and homeless but there are also people in their country.

What does the author want us to know?
That you don´t always have to be fast and flashy and you can always be slow and steady.

Who is most likely audience of this text and why?
Children because this is a fictional story of animals and children read books or ask their parents/caregivers to read books like these to them because they believe they are real

Is this text fair?
Yes because The Hare was making fun of The Tortoise of how slow he was and so he decided to take a name while the tortoise was racing.

What are characters destructed in this text?
The Tortoise , Hare , Rabbit and other animals in the crowd that were not mentioned.

What do you think Critical Literacy is?
Its a easier way to explain what English is and and simpler way students can learn.

How to tell a Satirical News Report Website from a Factual News Report Website.

What did you find challenging during Critical Literacy?
I didn´t have trouble learning in English but if I did I would ask the teacher for help or someone else if the teacher is busy with someone else

How will you use Critical Literacy skills in real life?
Critical Literacy can be helpful and used outside of education for things like getting a job.


What are you look forward to in English this year?
To having a easier education because of the things I learnt last year and thing I am still learning this term and next term , but English will still be difficult in the future when I reach Senior English.

Which of these websites are real news sites and which are fake news sites?

The Onion - I think The Onion is a Satirical News Report . They use real photos of real people but false news . They share headlines that will make people make things up.

The New York Times - I think The New York Times is a Factual News Report Because there is one picture that I saw and know is true.

The Civilian - I think that The Civilian is a Factual News Report Website because I know that Australian Strawberry brands had needles in the centre of them so Australian Strawberry brands have promised to make items found in strawberry's more fun now.

The Daily Mail - I think The Daily Mail is a Factual News Report Website because they all sound realistic and and there was no photos that looked Photoshoped , they also looks like they post true news.

The Herald - I think The Herald is a Satirical News Website because they say that midwives get a strike that was from last year .

The Shovel - I think The Shovel is a Satirical News Report because they have very little news.

Daily Telegraph - I think Daily Telegraph is a Factual News Website because they show trues pictures of what happened , like when there was a man electrocuted.
